This small 1/2 in. (13mm) diameter stainless steel sampler extracts up to a 6 in. clean soil sample to inspect moisture content, root depth or any other physical characteristics. The 1/2 in. diameter is perfect for quick soil sampling on the golf course and athletic field without leaving behind a large hole.
