Control soil acidity and moisture percentages with direct readings and decisions on when to add fertilizer and lime are simplified. Remove a 9" (23cm) square of turf and transfer to exchange hole without noticeable repair. The sides incline to the root base to give dense grass right up to the edges of each square. Due to the deep extraction taken, newly laid turf can be used without damage. Each piece is cut exactly square and fits neatly into pre-cut holes.
